AMC’s Mountain Skills Manual: The Essential Hiking and Backpacking Guide
By Christian Bisson and Jamie Hannon
Edit: Check out my AMC’s Mountain Skills Manual Book Review!
This fairly recent (2017) release from the Appalachian Mountain Club is an overview of mountain skills spanning from navigation to nutrition. The AMC’s guides and manuals are some of the most referenced titles on my bookshelf and I have high hopes for this publication as well.
